All Settled in with Gertrude...

After hundreds of boxes, several reels of duct tape, a lot of bubble wrap and some heavy lifting the new house is feeling like ours. Although there is more to go, including a lot of clothes, my new room is enjoying the hilly countryside...

Gertrude my classy bear whom I took with me on an school trip to learn about evacuation when I was in Primary School. Her evacuation label tells us that she used to live by the jacuzzi she now enjoys her days enjoying the sunshine in derbyshire. Her luxurious days of bubble baths are over but I think she has settled in just fine....

I also enjoyed a lovely day out to London this Easter holiday, visiting my eldest brother and his girlfriend to see some exhibitions and shop for an apple mac pro - which I would be using now if I knew how to put adobe on it, I'm sure I will get to grips with it soon...

'Take Courage', seen on a building on the way to Jian Wei's exhibition, I thought it made a good motto....
