The Gallery William's Yard

I am sorry to say blogging has not been at the top of my list of things to do lately, though I have a good excuse. My mother and I taking on a mountain of opening a Gallery in our new home, the lovely quaint village of Melbourne, Derbyshire. To launch the new business family, friends and the local residents were invited to a champagne reception. The gallery was filled to capacity giving both my mother and I inspiration for the future.

Saturday was the day of chaos, with a free junior art class held in The gallery  to encourage children to join the artistic side of this world. Myself and Dulcie were in charge of controlling the madness, populating Melbourne with masked children. This included pirates, aliens and princesses. I look forward to a quieter art class next week were eight lucky few will be exploring the fun of finger painting - wish me luck.

I really could not have envisaged a better start to the business, so any struggling artists our there know where to come to showcase the work - the warm and welcoming Melbourne.
