In order to improve my Spanish I went on the school trip to Barcelona, with the opportunity for some sunshine, some photography and some Espanol. I have finally sorted out my photos...

The view from the balcony of La Plaza Reil, which leads onto Las Ramblas

Some views taken around The Gothic Quarter

A view of the Sagrada Familia taken as I first saw it climbing up the stairs of the metro

The building work continues, the hustle and bustle of workers adds to the magnificence of the cathedral

Inside the Sagrada Familia

The view of Barcelona and its glorious beach taken from Park Guiell

Art restoration at one of Gaudi's other amazing creations

Although, nou camp wasn't my favourite sight to see, as I am not a football fan, however the size of the place did make for some good photos.

The Olympic Stadium originally built in 1932, however the Guerra Civil caused the stadium to not be used until 1992 Olympics.

Such a brilliant trip and such an amazing city, I even managed to get some spanish practice when speaking to an elderly man on the 'autobus' for roughly 10 minutes.
