My mother and I arrived in Ealing on Friday night to visit my brother, Jian Wei and his girlfriend Dulcie. As my brother's and my mother's photographic workshop in London was cancelled we all decided to head into Central London to explore even more of the city than before. First we headed to Clarkenwell to see Jian Wei's exhibition in the Frameless Gallery, it was great to see his work exhibited and also to see his colleagues work on display as well. The gallery was a beautiful space to display work.

We then headed to Borough Market for some lunch, on our way there we saw a beautiful building which stood empty ready for demolition and on this retro building we found these panels of stylistic design the perfect background for an outfit post. It will be a great shame to see such historic designs be forgotten. The market was amazing and the food even better. There was lots to see and lots of food to drool over.

After lunch we trekked to Sloane Square to the Micheal Hoppen Gallery to see some more photographic exhibitions. By now my feet were in absolute agony so we stopped at a local pub to get some much needed rest before the journey back home. On our way back to Ealing we stopped at a book shop for Dulcie to pick up a book on her reading list and I found myself a comfy chair to get off my poor feet! We had a lovely day, especially with the sun shining, and it was great to spend some time in London and take a load of photos. I cant wait for our next visit but for now it will be heading back to the humble village of Melbourne for a tonne of school work to catch up on.

How was everybody's weekend?
