An afternoon in the sun

cardigan - Zara // dress - River Island // sunglasses - Ray Ban // sandals - F&F

I love this shirt dress, it is so comfortable for the summer heat and the collar and belt detail add a little extra touch. The two tone polka dot is subtle but lovely for such a simple dress.

wishing this was mine!

cream tea and scones - the only way to end a summer afternoon

The olympic hibernation is coming to a close, today we ventured out to enjoy the sunshine at Calke Abbey. The national trust property that is known as the 'unstately home' as it has been restored with all the owners possessions - I have yet to venture inside the house as the grounds are also stunning to walk around. The property also host summer film screenings but The Woman in Black and Mama Mia didn't take my fancy! The best part of the outing has to be cream tea and scones, there were so fresh and perfect with a nice dollop of clotted cream - mmm...
