Poppy Fields

t-shirt - river island // shorts - Malaysian night market

There are so many places to take the dog for a walk and the poppy field is one my favourite places to go, although it has become a little overgrown leaving me with a few scratches and grazes! Milly loves it too, leaping in and out of the poppies and bathing in the sun. Along with walks, I have joined the olympics buzz along with everyone else in my village, it seems everyone is getting their bicycles out and whizzing past my window. So in an effort to do more exercise - I literally haven't done anything since joining sixth form and escaped the torture of P.E. I have joined a swimming club and even got my bike out. The swimming is definitely more enjoyable than the cycling, as every road in my village seems to be a hill to climb! All this sporty talk, when I am usually a confirmed avoider of sport - the power of the olympics!

Anyway back to the outfit, when the sun shines and the heat rises I love wearing a crisp white T and shorts, cool and comfy. These shorts were a bit of a steal, as haggling is a must in Malaysia, the striped print is simple but I love the colours. This is my favourite t-shirt, as it is oversized, making it versatile for tucking into floral skirts or tapered trousers, or just wearing for a more casual look. The pocket details adds a little more interest too.

Have a great weekend, I will be watching to the closing ceremony of London 2012!

  1. Loving how simple the outfit is - minimalism is one of my favourite trends! I also usually avoid sport but the Olympic spirit has gotten to me. Your dog is gorgeous!
